Payne County Commissioners to discuss a variety of bids and resurfacing plans for county roads and bridges
- Immediately following the Commissioner meeting, the Payne County Facilities Authority will convene to discuss and take possible action on a funding request for the upgrades to the Jail Control Tower System Interface.

Stillwater City Council to get updates on parks and hear progress on the proposed bond for a new animal welfare facility
On the consent docket, Council will be asked to approve an employment agreement for new City Manager, Brady Moore. The agreement includes an annual salary of $210,000.
Resolution CC-2024-38 would have the City adopt two social media policies: one for general administration of official sites and one for employee use. These policies aim to promote responsible and respectful online behavior.
“If your online profile indicates that you work for the City, then that activity is associated with the City.”
The proposed Employee Social Media Policy reminds employees that their online activities, even on personal accounts, can impact the City’s image and are encouraged to follow guidelines for confidentiality, accuracy, and respect.
A first reading of an ordinance that rezones property at 1324 East 6th Avenue from Commercial General to Commercial Shopping-Planned Unit Development. The change will allow the former Delux Inn motel to be converted into studio apartments. Previously reported here.
Charles Johnson is being recommended to be a Citizen Representative on the Downtown (Re)Investment Implementation Policy Committee.

- Agenda item 5.a. Trustees will be asked to approve a $28 million project to replace and upgrade the capacity of water treatment systems as part of the Water Treatment Plant Chemical Improvement Project.

Planning Commission
- Two short-term rental applications are back on the agenda after being tabled when applicants were not at Dec. 3, 2024 meeting. A map amendment that was also tabled from the same meeting is back on the agenda.
- A new short-term rental application by Jeff and Sue Macumber for 1822 E. Krayler will be heard.
- K-Life, a youth-focused religious group, is seeking a Special Use Permit to establish their services in a residential property located at 1307 N. Husband St. As per city code, “Churches and other religious institutions in RSS and RT require a Specific Use Permit.”
